How is the stabilization performance of Osmo Action 3? Compared with the previous generation, what improvements does it have?
Osmo Action 3 is equipped with a more comprehensive stabilization system, which provides three stabilization modes to choose from. RockSteady 3.0 adopts a new generation of intelligent stabilization algorithm, which can effectively eliminate camera shake in all directions. It supports recording up to 4K/120fps videos from a stable and immersive first-person perspective. HorizonSteady not only effectively eliminates camera shake in all directions, but also horizontally corrects tilt at any angle, so that the footage can remain horizontally stable, even through heavy bumps and 360° rotations. In addition, you can activate HorizonBalancing, which corrects the tilt horizontally within ±45° and supports recording stable 4K/60fps HD videos.
How is the waterproof performance of Osmo Action 3? Compared with the previous generation, what improvements does it have?
Osmo Action 3 can be used at depths of up to 16 meters, and up to 60 meters when used with the Waterproof Case, meeting the shooting needs of most underwater scenarios.
How is the operating time of Osmo Action 3?
Osmo Action 3 features excellent operating time [6] in both room-temperature and cold environments.
In 25° C (77° F) environments:
When recording 1080p/30fps video, the max operating time is 160 minutes.
When recording 1080p/60fps video, the max operating time is 124 minutes.
When recording 4K/120fps video, the max operating time is 31 minutes.
In -20° C (-4° F) environments:
When recording 1080p/30fps video, the max operating time is 150 minutes.
When recording 1080p/60fps video, the max operating time is 117 minutes.

Does Osmo Action 3 support fast charging?
Yes. You can use the DJI 30W USB-C Charger [7] to fast charge Osmo Action 3. A single battery can be charged to 80% in 18 minutes, and can be fully charged in 49 minutes. [8] With the Multifunctional Battery Case, three batteries can be fast charged intelligently, making shooting more efficient.

What upgrades does the firmware update of Osmo Action 3 have?
This firmware update has the following main upgrades:
1. 4K HDR Video
The camera adopts a chip-level HDR technology and supports recording HDR video at 4K/2.7K/1080p@24/25/30fps (16:9) . Even in high-contrast scenarios, like sunsets and sunrises, it can restore highlight and shadow details, allowing you to capture images with natural lighting transitions. At the same time, you can enable RockSteady 3.0, RockSteady+, HorizonSteady, or HorizonBalancing to stabilize image details in motion.
2. 10-Bit Color Depth
Over one billion colors can be recorded to reproduce your world in stunning detail, delivering smoother and more natural color gradations for greater flexibility in post-production.
3. Timecode
Timecode is designed for multi-camera shooting. After synchronizing the timecode of each camera, you can quickly align materials from different cameras with the built-in timecode information, greatly enhancing the post-production efficiency.

2. Tested in a 25° C (77° F) laboratory environment while recording 1080p/30fps video with EIS disabled and both screens off, and should be used for reference only.

4. In order to avoid damage, do not strike, crush, or drop this product.
5. Before use, please close the battery cover and the port cover, and also tighten the Lens Protective Cover. It is recommended to install the waterproof case for long-term underwater shooting or when shooting in environments with high pressure or water impacts. Osmo Action 3 and its Waterproof Case have an IP68 waterproof rating. Do not use the camera in hot springs or expose it to corrosive liquids.
6. Tested in a laboratory environment with different video specifications, EIS disabled, and screens off, and should be used for reference only. The operating time of the 4K/120fps specification is not the battery exhaustion time. The actual operating time is related to ambient temperature and other factors.
7. The DJI 30W USB-C Charger is sold separately.
